Portrait of Jodie

In loving memory of Jodie.

Her face, her light, and the love she gave are part of the journey we carry forward together.

A life remembered. A light carried forward.

Jodie’s Journey was created to honor Jodie, keep her memory moving, and help more people understand the fight families face when cancer enters their lives.

Her experience with maxillary sinus cancer became part of a much larger story—one of love, courage, family, awareness, and the people who refuse to let someone’s light fade.

“The people we love never stop shaping the road ahead.”

Jodie’s story stays at the heart of this page. Below is the practical plan for carrying her memory across America and turning attention into direct help for people facing cancer.

One last trip, and a reason to keep moving.

I am carrying Jodie’s ashes across the country, honoring her at meaningful bodies of water and documenting the journey through lawful, permitted, and respectful drone flights.

    • Share a short video, photograph, and story from each memorial stop.
    • Raise awareness of maxillary sinus cancer and the weight families carry.
    • Provide practical support to vetted cancer patients and families.

    It begins in Appalachia.

Eastern Kentucky is the first focus because this is home ground. Every stop should connect remembrance, safe documentation, and meaningful help.

Kentucky consistently carries one of the highest cancer burdens in the United States—ranking first overall in new cancer cases and deaths.

    1. Publish the first route and memorial water stop.
    2. Document each lawful flight and the story behind the place.
    3. Post proof-of-giving and campaign expense updates.

I am searching for partners for this journey—cancer research foundations and others who want to help families facing cancer.
